Alantra hires Matthes to lead investment banking in Germany

The mid-market investment bank is rebuilding in the country after cutting bankers in 2024

Mid-market investment bank Alantra has hired a senior dealmaker to lead its team in Germany as it rebuilds in the country.

The bank has hired Alexander Matthes as a managing director and head of Germany, it said in a statement. He will be based in Frankfurt and joins from private equity firm, Vendis Capital.
