Marc Spilker, one of a string of senior executives to leave Goldman Sachs Asset Management this year, has re-emerged as president of private equity firm, Apollo Global Management.

Apollo said in a statement yesterday that Marc Spilker is joining as president on December 1. Spilker will run the day to day operations of Apollo and sit on the company's executive committee.
