The investment company run by Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson, the flamboyant hedge fund manager, is fighting for survival after posting multi-million dollar losses and battling to keep hold of disaffected shareholders and investors.

LumX, which was known as Gottex until 2015, filed losses of $7m in 2017, according to its latest annual report. The Swiss company — of which Busson, the ex-fiancée of Hollywood actress Uma Thurman, is executive chairman — has racked up losses of close to $33m in three years.
