Asset managers, investment providers, and pension schemes will all be forced to disclose information about their environmental impact under new standards unveiled by the UK Chancellor designed to tackle greenwashing.

Under the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements, unveiled just weeks before the UK hosts the COP26 conference in Glasgow, firms will have to provide comprehensive detail about their green credentials as part of a government drive to to ensure consumers have enough information to determine if investments are aligned with net zero goals.
