Aviva Investors, the £355bn fund management arm of the UK-listed insurance group, has appointed Mark Versey as its next chief executive.

Versey, currently chief investments officer for real assets at the firm, replaces Euan Munro, who is leaving to join another asset manager after seven years in the top job. It is understood he will take up his new position later in the year.
