Aviva Investors weighs up entry into active ETFs

The insurer-owned fund group becomes the latest to consider joining Europe’s fiercely competitive ETF sector

Aviva Investors is eyeing entry into active ETFs, a move which would see it join a growing list of fund groups that have made a foray into the fast-growing sector.

“We are actively considering active ETFs,” Mark Versey, chief executive of Aviva Investors, the £238bn fund management division of the UK-listed insurer, told Financial News.
