AXA Investment Managers has hired a chief digital technology officer as the fund manager looks for business opportunities arising from digital technology and big data.

Alban Jarry, a former director at La Mutuelle Générale, has taken on the role at AXA IM, according to a statement. He is a former deputy director of operations at Edmond de Rothschild Investment Managers.
