Emerging markets investment bank BancTrust has downsized its London headquarters as it pushes to cut costs following a fall in profit.

BancTrust moved into a new base at 1 Cornhill, a late Victorian building near Bank station in the City, at the start of this week, according to registry filings and people familiar with the matter.
