Bank of America shifting top banker Vicario to lead key UK unit

The US investment bank is creating 1,000 new UK roles

Bank of America is moving one of its top bankers in Europe to the UK as it looks to expand its business in the country.

Fernando Vicario, who currently leads one of its post-Brexit hubs called Bank of America Europe DAC, will shift to London to head up Merrill Lynch International, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
