Bank of Bermuda has launched The Kangaroo Fund, an offshore hedge fund incubator aimed at Australian resident managers, at a time when the Asian Pacific region is likely to see rising interest in alternative investment.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore recently announced plans to open hedge funds to retail investors.
