Bank of England sees economic risks from Trump and Brexit

The Bank of England said Wednesday that the outlook for financial stability in the UK remains challenging, citing potential risks following June’s Brexit vote and Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election.

In a twice-yearly report, the BoE said the UK financial system remains broadly resilient amid healthier-than-expected economic growth, but that threats to banks and the wider economy persist.
