Satire is dead. Killed by Donald Trump. It’s hopeless trying to make a joke about the President-elect because in Trumpworld there is no joke too outlandish that it can’t turn out to be true.

A while back I suggested that a President Trump would scrap the idea of a wall to keep out Mexicans. Instead he would build a wall to keep out European investment banks. It was a joke. Or at least it was meant to be. But in Trumpworld that is exactly what some investors are now worried about.
