Just one bank has made it into the top-20 of a new list of companies doing the most to promote social mobility in the UK. It comes with the investment banking community under pressure for not doing enough to employ people from poorer backgrounds. 

UK charity the Social Mobility Foundation today published its first-ever Social Mobility Employers Index of 50 companies employing staff in the country.
