Barclays has hired a former Deutsche Bank dealmaker to co-head its equity capital markets business in Europe, the latest senior change at the UK lender.

Foruhar Madjlessi has joined the UK lender as co-head of equity capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Barclays said in a statement. He will work alongside Lawrence Jamieson, who was promoted to lead the business in September.
