Barclays has hired the former head of electronic trading at Credit Suisse, reuniting him with his old boss now running the UK's bank's global equities division.

Naseer Al-Khudairi will join Barclays in March as global head of electronic equities and cash equities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the bank said today.
