Barclays has tapped a partner from consulting giant McKinsey to lead its mass affluent business as the UK bank continues its wealth push.

Sid Azad has been hired as head of mass affluent and growth and will play a key role in shaping Barclays’ strategy for its private banking and wealth management business in the UK and crown dependencies, the firm said in a statement.
