BlackRock, which completed its $19bn (€15bn) merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers last Friday, has named a further three directors to its board.

Sir Deryck Maughan, managing director of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and chairman of KKR Asia, joins the 17-strong BlackRock board. He is also a non-executive director of Reuters and GlaxoSmithKline.
