Bloomberg is building artificial intelligence tools that could streamline 80% of an analyst’s workload, its chief technology officer has said.

In a wide-ranging interview, Shawn Edwards told Financial News that applying generative AI to so-called unstructured data also had the potential to boost researchers’ productivity tenfold in some areas.
