Letter from Boca Raton: Futures industry faces stark choices

The global futures industry this week gathers at Boca Raton in Florida for the 38th annual FIA conference. Nicolas Breteau, the chief executive of Newedge Group, discusses the issues confronting the industry

Florida may be the Sunshine State but the outlook for delegates at the 38th annual International Futures Industry Conference, to be held in Boca Raton over the next few days, is decidedly mixed.
