King of mining M&A staffs up with analyst hires

London-based advisory boutique Hannam and Partners has made two appointments to its resources research team — hires which its chief executive said "cement" its position in the sector.

The firm, a partnership founded by former JPMorgan Cazenove banker Ian Hannam — known as the "King of Mining M&A" — has hired Roger Bell as director of mining research and Alejandro Demichelis as director of oil and gas research, the company announced today.
