The UK could lose about 30,000 jobs to the remaining members of the EU as a result of Brexit, according to Brussels-based think tank Bruegel, with 17% of all UK banking assets potentially on the move.

Investment banks could move 10,000 jobs to the EU as a result of Brexit, the think tank said, followed by 18,000 to 20,000 jobs related to professional services, such as accountancy, consulting and law.
