Brut, the New York-based alternative trading system and electronic communication network (ECN), has begun trading US-listed equities through the Nasdaq InterMarket.

Formerly known as the Third Market, Nasdaq InterMarket is an electronic marketplace for trading exchange-listed securities including those on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the American Stock Exchange. More than 50 market makers and three ECNs are InterMarket members.
