BS Private Equity, the Italian mid-market buy-out firm, has acquired Selcom Elettronica in a deal that followed a two-year courtship of the company's family owners.

Andrea Frecchiami, the BS Private Equity partner responsible for the deal, said the acquisition put Selcom Elettronica's enterprise value in the range €50m (£60m) to €100m. He said: "It is one of our largest buy-outs."
