Life on the road has been a prominent feature for Dean Buckley since he was announced as the new chief executive of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, two years ago this month.

Buckley divides his week between Edinburgh, where Swip sites most of its portfolio managers, and London, where its sales and client service teams work.
