Calyon, the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole, has hired Albert Momdjian, former head of Middle East and North Africa investment banking at Credit Suisse, to oversee its investment banking business in the region.

Momdjian, who will be based in Calyon's Dubai office, reports to Gilles de Dumast, member of Calyon's executive committee and global head of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets.
