Centerview Partners, the US financial advisory boutique formed last year by three senior investment bankers, has hired a heavyweight partner from law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as one of the leaders of its financial institutions advisory practice.

Adam Chinn will be joining Centerview Partners as a founding partner at the start of next month.
