Chase appoints country officer for Poland

Chase Manhattan has appointed Jarek Kochaniak as senior country officer for Poland.

Kochaniak joins Chase after four years at Salomon Smith Barney in London, where he was a vice-president, responsible for Polish investment banking. At Chase, which has 19 people working in Poland, Kochaniak he will be responsible for managing client relationships in Poland across a variety of banking products including mergers and acquisitions, risk management solutions, capital market financing and transaction-based services.
