Citigroup has backed a company that uses artificial intelligence to aggregate millions of sources of online information and recommend content that is relevant to institutional investors.

New York-based Selerity has raised $4.2 million in an investment round led by Citigroup, with participation from Mark Faulkner, founder of Data Explorers and Credit Benchmark, and fintech investor Roger Ehrenberg, the company said on March 8.
