A senior member of Citigroup's team selling services to hedge funds in the Americas has left the bank, which has been on a push in recent years to grow its equities business and rival its Wall Street peers.

David Tenney, who joined Citi as a managing director and regional head of sales for the Americas in 2013, left at the end of last month, according to a message on his LinkedIn page. He had been a member of the bank's prime brokerage team, which services hedge funds among other clients.
