Citigroup has named co-heads of a key unit within its $8bn treasury and trade solutions business, one of the biggest and fastest-growing fee generators in its investment bank.

Peadar MacCanna and Murat Demirel have been named as co-heads of trade for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a statement.
