Citigroup has made its second hire of the week from the senior investment banking ranks of rival UBS, this time recruiting a top chemicals executive from the Swiss bank.

Sean Weissenberger spent more than a decade with UBS, most recently as its head of investment banking for the chemicals sector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is now joining Citi in the same role, according to a memo sent to staff on Wednesday.
