Citigroup has promoted a senior equities executive to run its sales team in Europe, part of a series of changes as the Wall Street bank continues to overhaul its leadership under chief executive Jane Fraser.

Quentin Andre has been promoted to head of UK, Europe and the Middle East and Africa sales within Citigroup's equities team, according to people familiar with the appointment.
