Companies turn to flashy London offices to win war for talent

The markets for new and used offices are ‘out of kilter’ for the first time in almost two decades, says analyst

Companies moving office are frequently shunning all but the freshest, flashiest properties in an attempt to attract staff, leaving the markets for new and old buildings further apart than they have been for almost two decades.

Demand for new office space in London is outstripping supply, according to analysis from CBRE, a property agency. But supply is greater than demand in the market for second-hand offices.
