As the UK embarks on a three-week lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the City of London is increasingly deserted. But some workers are still braving the quiet streets.

Prime minister Boris Johnson announced the lockdown late on 23 March, advising that key workers who cannot do their jobs from home are allowed to commute to and from the office. Many banks and finance companies have designated some traders and support staff as key workers.
