City donates hundreds of thousands to Grenfell Tower victims

JP Morgan, BlackRock, Goldman, NEX and others pledge money and resources to help the victims of last week's tragedy

Banks, fund managers and law firms in the City of London have been raising thousands of pounds for victims of this week's fire at Grenfell Tower, which has so far claimed the lives of 58 people and left survivors without a home.

JP Morgan said in a statement on June 19 that the bank and its employees will donate up to £65,000 to to Red Cross' London Fire Relief Fund, which is helping those affected by the tragedy.
