City workers forced to choose between the office and home

More than half of City of London executives feel unable to progress in their careers without making unsustainable sacrifices in their personal lives, according to a survey of more than 1,000 workers.

The poll of mainly mothers and fathers, conducted by networking firm Cityparents, found 56% felt they had to make untenable sacrifices, up from 47% a year before.
