Clear Street trims 10% of UK staff

All but one of five senior UK hires Clear Street unveiled in February have been laid off

Clear Street has cut around 10% of its UK-based staff in recent weeks, including senior hires made earlier this year, as the US broker shakes up its fledgling British operations.

The firm, which launched in the UK in December, has laid off eight people since June, according to people familiar with the matter.
