Clearstream International, the international central securities depository, has persuaded Graham Prosser, chief operating officer of its IT division, to stay at the company instead of taking a two-year sabbatical.

Prosser has played a crucial role at the depository, managing the day to day operations of securities settlement. He was in charge of building Clearstream's $500m (€540.7m) technology platform Creation, which was launched last month after four years of development.
