Co-working companies are lining up to take space in south London's Battersea Power Station alongside the tech giant Apple, the latest indication of the "flexible revolution" underway in the capital's commercial property sector.
The team at real estate services group CBRE has used the term in a recent report to refer to the growing popularity of serviced offices that offer co-working facilities on relatively short leases for tenants. They calculate that European cities including London, Berlin and Paris have seen year-on-year growth of 12-21% in the number of co-working locations.
