EY, Deloitte and PwC have all reported significant revenue growth from the businesses housing their corporate finance practices, as the Big Four accountancy firms look to muscle in on lucrative fees from investment banking deals.

The UK's accountancy giants have been hiring senior bankers over the last 18 months in an effort to compete with banks and independent advisers for corporate finance work.
