Credit Suisse UK private bank head to leave

Ian Marsh is stepping down after just over two years in charge of the Swiss bank's wealth management business in London

Credit Suisse Group Tuesday said the head of its private banking arm in the UK, Ian Marsh, is stepping down, after just over two years heading the unit.

A spokesman for the Zurich-based bank declined to elaborate. Marsh, a former investment banker and 22-year veteran of Credit Suisse who formerly spearheaded efforts to link the three bank units more closely, including setting up a system to reward bankers who refer business to other Credit Suisse units, couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
