Several crypto hedge funds posted large gains last year as growing institutional interest in the asset class drove a market rally.

Among those capitalising on rising crypto prices were multi-strategy crypto hedge fund Wincent, which gained 43% in 2024, including a jump of more than 3% in December, according to people familiar with the matter.
