Mark Daniels, a senior investment manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, is being sent to Australia to shore up the business following the departure of two key staff, according to sources close to the firm.

Daniels' transfer follows the departures of Steve Robinson, head of Australian equities, and Munib Mandi, an investment manager.
