The head of the financial institutions group at DC Advisory, who had been named as an adviser on a private equity deal earlier this month, has left the firm.

John Paul McGrath, known as JP, left the European corporate finance business owned by Daiwa Capital Markets at the beginning of this month, according to two sources familiar with the situation. McGrath did not return messages seeking comment. He is listed as inactive on the Financial Services register of authorised persons, as of the end of March.
