Dean replaces Illhardt as head of Deutsche equity syndicate

Sam Dean is replacing Jörg Illhardt as European head of equity syndicate at Deutsche Bank about a year after joining the German firm

Dean joined Deutsche at the end of last year as head of London equity syndicate from Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) and will continue to be based in the UK. Prior to his three years at SSSB, Dean spent five years with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
