Deutsche Bank doubles financial crime fighters to head off scandals

Germany’s largest bank has been beset by legal problems in recent years — and has warned they are not over yet

Deutsche Bank has doubled the number of staff tackling financial crime over the past two years, as it seeks to avoid a repeat of the high-profile scandals that have dogged its reputation.

Germany’s largest bank has been beset by legal problems, paying out billions of dollars in fines to settle a litany of investigations over the past 10 years.
