Deutsche Bank has ‘run out of road’ and needs big cuts, say experts

Deutsche must begin a more radical restructuring of its investment bank following the collapse of merger talks with domestic rival Commerzbank, according to shareholders and analysts.

Germany’s biggest bank is running out of options to turn the underperforming division around, with bankers and investors calling for deeper job cuts and a retreat from US businesses.
