Deutsche Bank is winding down its business in Russia, backtracking on its earlier stance and following Wall Street rivals in pulling back from the country.

The German lender said in a statement that it was "in the process of winding down our remaining business in Russia while we help our non-Russian multinational clients in reducing their operations".
