Deutsche Bank mulls making work from home permanent in ‘hybrid model’ plan

Deutsche would become the first major investment bank to formally allow its staff to change the way they work

Deutsche Bank is drawing up plans that could allow its employees to permanently work from home for a number of days each week, as the German lender continues to look for ways to cut real-estate costs.

The German lender is considering adopting a “hybrid model" to allow its staff to split their time between the office and home, its chief executive Christian Sewing told a banking conference on 24 September. Bloomberg first reported the comments.
