Deutsche Bank has made a raft of promotions across its trading business in London in a bid to bring more asset classes onto electronic platforms.

Chief among them is David Wayne, head of the German bank's foreign exchange desk, who will now lead a new technology and operations team spanning the corporate and investment bank, according to a memo sent today from Deutsche's head of global markets Garth Ritchie. A spokesman for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
